The role emphasizes collaboration with environmental, maintenance, and project teams, along with shaping strategic plans and continuous improvement in treatment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with seven years of related experience, or Master’s with five years, or PhD with three years.
• Advanced knowledge of effluent treatment plants.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review effluent treatment plant operations and projects, providing recommendations to improve performance and compliance.
• Lead development of long-term technical strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Build partnerships with environmental, maintenance, laboratory, operational, and external stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Provide advanced technical leadership for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with site leadership to shape operational and project strategies and ensure standards are followed.
• Lead continuous improvement by auditing operational standards and system enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize effluent treatment operations and support budgeting.
• Mentor and develop technical staff in effluent treatment plant operations.
