Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in education, economics, public policy, sociology, statistics, or related field or a combination of equivalent education and work experience.
  • Six or more years of professional experience conducting education research or program or policy support.
  • Current or recent experience as an education practitioner (teacher, administrator, district/state staff).
  • Experience working with state/local education agencies and partnerships across the country.
  • Expertise in improving educational outcomes in areas like educator prep, materials, school improvement, or career readiness.
  • Expertise in adult learning, coaching, change management, and continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support program improvement, research and evaluation, and technical assistance projects.
  • Oversee teams, manage projects, and develop client solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop program improvement and evaluation strategies.
  • Aggregate and present data to assess program performance and develop recommendations.
  • Plan and facilitate webinars, trainings, and meetings with government clients and partners.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to proposals and staff development.
