Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead and support projects focused on early childhood and human services programs.

You will oversee teams, manage projects, and develop solutions for clients’ policy, programmatic, and operational challenges, with an emphasis on Head Start initiatives. The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and at least 6 years of relevant experience, plus strong client engagement and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in early childhood education or related field required.
• At least 6 years of progressive professional experience in early childhood programs, preferably Head Start/Early Head Start.
• Experience with federal discretionary grants management, program/financial management, and regulatory compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with federal, state, and other clients and partners.
• Leads multidisciplinary teams to implement and supervise policies and programs, including Head Start initiatives.
