Job summary

The Architect’s Newspaper, LLC is seeking a Senior Editor to supervise print editions of The Architect’s Newspaper and AN Interior, reporting to the Editor in Chief. The role collaborates with the VP of Content and supports publications’ websites, plus editorial and administrative duties.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 5 years editing experience, strong CMS and desktop publishing skills, and mastery of the Chicago Manual of Style, with proven ability to manage deadlines and budgets in a

Qualifications

• Sturdy, detail-oriented, highly organized.
• Extraordinary organizational and interpersonal skills.
• 5+ years copy editing experience.
• 3+ years full-time on print or web publications.
• Knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and desktop publishing tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with Editor in Chief to develop and plan content for AN.
• Oversee print production, editorial calendar, and production efforts across AN Media Group.
• Manage delivery schedules with internal team and freelancers.
• Edit and fact-check print articles; supervise copy editors and proofreaders.
• Input and edit digital content for CMS (WordPress).
• Write for print and online publication when possible.
• Support invoicing and editorial budget management.
