Job summary

Architectural Digest is seeking a Deputy Editor to shape and execute the brand’s editorial future across print and digital platforms, reporting to the Global Editorial Director. The role will mentor editors and writers and manage AD PRO, developing its team and ensuring strong editorial execution.

Responsibilities include setting priorities, leading signature franchises, and driving growth while protecting editorial independence and standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of editorial leadership experience.
• Exceptional editorial judgment and creative instincts.
• Proven success developing editorial across multiple platforms.
• Outstanding editing and writing skills.
• Deep understanding of digital publishing, print, social, newsletters, video, commerce, and audience development.
• Strong collaborative leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute editorial priorities, stories, themes, and cultural conversations that define AD.
• Develop signature editorial initiatives, packages, and franchises across print, digital, video, and social.
• Identify opportunities for editorial innovation and new storytelling formats.
• Maintain a consistently ambitious, high-quality editorial point of view across the brand.
