Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Editor to steward our brand voice and editorial standards, shaping how AI-generated copy aligns with the craft and warmth of the Airbnb brand. You will define guidelines, train models, and serve as the final editorial authority across campaigns, product, and communications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated eye for language, taste, rhythm and judgment.
• Experience developing or maintaining brand voice guidelines at scale across global markets.
• Direct experience with AI/language models and feedback to improve output.
• Hands-on editing plus systems thinking to scale editorial standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Airbnb’s brand voice and editorial guidelines for humans and AI systems.
• Partner with Marketing Technology to train and evaluate language models against brand standards.
• Review and refine AI-generated copy across campaigns, product and marketing surfaces.
• Build scalable editorial QA processes for AI-generated content and define what requires human review.
• Translate brand guidelines into structured inputs and training examples for model improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop internal tools for editorial review and model training.
• Mentor writers and editors to elevate editorial talent across the org.
• Stay current on language models and push editorial standards in AI workflows.
