Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technician to support the legal organization within a large Federal agency in Boston. The role focuses on eDiscovery processing, document handling, and Relativity loading under strict government protocols.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of eDiscovery experience, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent substitution), strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Knowledge of information resources and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest the cover letter and provide a brief description of the production.
• If encrypted, obtain the password from the producing party.
• Determine if the cover letter qualifies for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan production off-network and address any issues.
• Copy clean production to the Agency network.
• Handle documents per protocols for whistles, MOUs, RFPA and other types.
• Analyze productions to determine processing requirements and completeness.
• Monitor for incoming productions via email and FTP.
• Scan and OCR paper documents for loading into Relativity.
• Coordinate off-site scanning for multi-box paper productions.
