Job summary

Linklaters is seeking an eDiscovery Attorney to provide US-qualified legal input on privilege, disclosure obligations and risk for litigation matters, investigations, and regulatory cases.

You will coordinate with the eDiscovery team, sign off on workflows, and help plan preservation, collection, review and production activities, ensuring proportional and compliant strategies. The role involves cross‑team liaison and client updates.

Qualifications

• US-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience
• Experience advising on eDiscovery, reviews and productions and investigations
• Familiarity with e-discovery lifecycle and rules in applicable jurisdictions

Responsibilities

• Provide US-qualified legal advice and sign-off on privilege, disclosure obligations and legal risk within eDiscovery strategy.
• Coordinate with the eDiscovery team to integrate legal input into strategy and vendor-management functions.
• Support planning and execution of document preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis and production workflows.
• Provide legal sign-off ensuring review and production strategies are proportionate and compliant.
• Liaise with partners, clients, vendors and review teams to coordinate reviews and productions.
• Advise on legal defensibility of review tools and TAR technologies.
• Assist matter teams with review planning, training, escalation routes, and quality checks.
• Prepare matter updates, status reports, and metrics for internal teams and clients.
• Advise on regulatory considerations in external provider and client relationships.
