Job summary

CGS seeks a highly skilled eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join the Legal team. The role focuses on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil and criminal matters, including FOIA and congressional requests.

You will operate advanced eDiscovery tools (Relativity, Enterprise Vault, LHMT, and Veritas) and craft discovery plans with the litigation team. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, experience across the EDRM lifecycle, and are eligible for

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience
• 3 years of progressively responsible experience on major lit support projects
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Experience with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil and criminal matters.
• Provide criminal discovery support and eDiscovery expertise.
• Act as expert user of electronic discovery applications (Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, Veritas).
• Develop discovery plans with the litigation team detailing search parameters.
• Collect data from FBI IT systems per the discovery plan.
• Analyze search results and identify data gaps.
• Manage data inputs into eDiscovery review platforms and ensure data quality (Bates numbering, load files).
• Coordinate collection results with FBI units handling processing, review, and redaction.
