Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an Edifecs Platform Operations Lead to manage the Edifecs platform, drive roadmap execution, and partner with architecture, vendor, and business teams. The role emphasizes stability, compliance, and scalability in a remote setting for VA projects.

You will oversee Edifecs components, troubleshoot EDI flows, optimize JVM and security posture, and coordinate releases with DevSecOps and cloud teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles.
• Extensive AWS cloud experience and cloud scalability know-how.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot EDI failures and map issues.
• Experience tuning JVMs, memory, and high-availability setups.
• Understanding of security, governance, and audits in healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Edifecs Platform Operations to ensure stability and compliance.
• Oversee staffing, create roadmaps, and drive execution across teams.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, vendors, and business units.
• Guide modernization, cloud scalability, and performance strategies.
• Configure Edifecs modules and support release deployments and upgrades.
