Job summary

Fastly seeks a Senior Security Solutions Engineer to help customers implement secure, high-performance policies using Fastly’s security suite. You will architect, deploy, and optimize Next-Gen WAF across edge, cloud, and on-prem environments, ensuring robust security and reliability.

You’ll partner with customers from onboarding through ongoing optimization, addressing requirements and delivering tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Solutions, Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience delivering advanced web and security solutions for enterprise customers (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of web application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, DDoS, rate limiting).

Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers to Fastly Security Products and secure deployments.
• Architect, implement, and maintain Next-Gen WAF solutions across Edge/Cloud/On-Prem models.
• Guide customers on features, health checks, and performance tuning.
