Job summary

Fastly is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to serve as the architect for strategic customers, helping them optimize delivery, footprint, and user experience on the Fastly platform.

You'll own technical engagements, troubleshoot issues, and present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with opportunities to travel. Remote work options are available for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

5+ years Pre-Sales or Post-Sales experience in relevant roles.
Hands-on role requiring practical problem solving and coding.
Strong understanding of networking and web protocols (HTTP/s, TCP, TLS, DNS).

Responsibilities

Act as the resident Fastly architect for customers and champion their needs.
Develop technical relationships to understand teams, infrastructures, and problems.
Post-sales implementation of Fastly products and document configurations for troubleshooting.
Investigate and recommend improvements to customer implementations of Fastly tech stack.
Introduce new Fastly products aligned with customer needs.
Coordinate with internal teams to support customer strategies.
Participate in regular customer meetings on-site or via video/phone.
Track and report customer account health to leadership.
