Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a team of program managers responsible for developing next generation edge processing and electronics technologies and products. The role oversees program execution across a portfolio of space programs, drives customer engagement, and manages staffing and resources to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant technical field
• ≥15 years of program management experience in hardware-centric, edge-processing or electronics product development
• Strong understanding of edge processing architectures, embedded systems, power electronics, RF/analog design and related standards
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a team of program managers to deliver edge processing and electronics programs on schedule and within budget
• Support program managers and act as liaison with key customers, communicating status, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Define staffing requirements and coordinate with HR and functional leaders to staff technical resources
• Ensure executable program budgets, forecast financial performance, and manage risks with corrective actions
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to drive integrated product development and stakeholder alignment
