Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join an Animal AgTech client building edge-to-cloud systems for poultry, livestock, and aquaculture. You will design, build, and operate the distributed pipeline deployed on IoT devices across hatcheries and facilities worldwide.

The role is hands-on, backend-focused, spanning containerized .NET services, data stores, pub/sub messaging, and industrial protocol integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development shipping production systems.
• Strong C# and modern .NET experience with ASP.NET Core REST APIs.
• Relational and document databases, and data pipelines experience.
• Experience with containerization and Linux deployment.
• Git, PR workflows, and CI/CD expertise.

Responsibilities

• Backend service development in C#/.NET for edge platform.
• Own data pipeline from device ingest to cloud archive.
• Containerization, deployment manifests, and orchestration.
• Industrial protocol integration and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Architecture contributions and mentorship.
