Echodyne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, IoT Platform, to advance edge-to-cloud integration for high-performance radar devices. You will lead hands-on development on edge devices in Rust/C++ while routing telemetry to AWS services, and mentor a small team to deliver reliable, secure software under real-world constraints.

Qualifications

• Hands-on edge development with Rust or C++, middleware on hardware/client devices; Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Integrate: act as a technical driver for edge components interacting with AWS cloud services and APIs.
• Shepherd Local Innovation: design robust interfaces ensuring reliability in disconnected or high-latency environments.
• Collaborate in Tandem: work with the Principal Cloud Tech Lead to implement contracts and protocols for secure, high-throughput device-to-cloud communication.
• Mentor & Coach: grow engineers on the edge team with high standards for code quality and AWS integration.
• Anticipate Challenges: identify risks early to keep edge-to-cloud bridge durable and secure.
