Job summary
Motion Recruitment is assisting a client in seeking a senior software engineer to build products from the ground up, influence technology strategy and product direction. This full-time role leads development of a next-generation field technology platform used in real-world operational environments near the greater Boston area, spanning web, mobile, and cloud technologies.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-ownership environment, contributing to architecture, engineering standards, and roadmap
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong React and modern JavaScript framework expertise.
- Experience building production-grade mobile applications.
- Design scalable cloud-based systems and services.
- Hands-on RESTful APIs and distributed systems experience.
- Strong software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on development across front-end, mobile, and cloud platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders on architecture and roadmap.
- Establish engineering standards and drive platform evolution.
