Job summary

Charles River Associates seeks a Senior Associate to work closely with senior consultants on project teams. You will apply strong economic knowledge, conduct research, develop models, and help prepare client deliverables and expert reports using market and client data.

The role involves supervising junior analysts, mentoring colleagues, and collaborating across practice areas. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics with completion date Dec 2026/Summer 2027 and quantitative focus.
• Curious and analytical thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in consulting and ability to explain economic/financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in a team setting with economists, regulators and industry experts.
• Design economic models, analyze data, and manage research processes.
• Supervise, train and mentor junior analysts.
• Prepare client deliverables including expert reports and white papers using client data.
