Charles River Associates invites candidates for our Summer Analyst/Associate Internship in Economics Consulting. The program mirrors the analyst role across live client projects, spanning 8–10 weeks with mentorship, professional development, and wellness support.

High-potential interns may receive a full-time offer after graduation. You’ll engage in research, economic and industry analyses, and model-building, collaborating with senior colleagues to deliver client-ready work and build consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates graduating December 2027/Summer 2028 with focus on quantitative research.
• Completion of an honors thesis, research apprenticeship, or research seminar program is highly desired.
• Demonstrated understanding of economic/financial concepts and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
• Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy, or cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic and industry research to understand a case’s issues.
• Perform financial and economic analyses or build valuation models for case support.
• Program, build models, and run regression analyses using Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
• Develop familiarity with data sources used in analyses.
• Review and summarize analyst reports and client documents.
• Assist in producing research summaries, expert reports, and presentations.
• Ensure reliability of analysis through quality control.
