Job summary

Charles River Associates seeks a Senior Associate to join our team. You will work with senior consultants on projects, designing models, analyzing data, and preparing client deliverables including expert reports and white papers that summarize opinions and recommendations.

The role requires a PhD in economics with strong quantitative skills, proficiency in Stata, SAS, Python, R, SQL, and related tools, and clear communication abilities. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics with quantitative focus; December 2026/Summer 2027 completion preferred.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities; ability to design/interpret complex economic models.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present to clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in a team environment with leading academics and regulators.
• Design economic models to analyze data and manage research projects.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior analysts.
• Develop and present client deliverables, including expert reports and white papers.
• Act as a primary contact for attorneys and clients on practice-relevant issues.
