Job summary

CK is expanding its Ecological Program into Texas and seeks an experienced scientist/biologist/ecologist to lead complex natural resource and environmental permitting projects. You will work directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and CK teams across Texas and the Gulf Coast, mentoring staff and shaping business growth.

Responsibilities include managing WOTUS delineations, coordinating USACE permitting, and developing permitting strategies while maintaining strong client relationships for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Wildlife, Fisheries, Wetland Science, Natural Resources, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with managing projects and client relationships (8+ years).
• Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory frameworks (CWA, ESA, RHA).
• Experience with wetlands delineations and habitat assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex natural resource and environmental permitting projects from scoping to completion.
• Manage permitting efforts with USACE and other agencies.
• Develop permitting strategies and client relationships for business growth.
• Mentor junior ecological staff and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory correspondence.
• Assist in proposal development and client meetings.
