Job summary

CK Associates, LLC, an employee‑owned environmental consulting firm, is expanding its Ecological Program in Texas and seeks an experienced Senior Environmental Scientist to lead complex natural resource projects and client relationships across the Gulf Coast.

You'll manage permitting, coordinate with USACE and regulators, mentor staff, and help grow CK's ecological services with strong technical and business development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field.
• 8+ years in environmental consulting or related natural resource experience with progressive project & client responsibility.
• Experience with WOTUS delineation, USACE jurisdictional determinations and permitting, coastal permitting, and wetland impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead natural resource and environmental permitting projects from scoping through completion.
• Develop permitting strategies and coordinate with USACE and other regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior ecological staff and provide technical guidance and project oversight.
• Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory correspondence.
