Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Electronic CAD Designer to create moderate to highly complex PWB layouts, collaborating with engineers on new and modified boards. You will interpret schematic inputs, ensure manufacturability, and contribute to detailed layouts with experience in advanced packaging techniques.

Applicants must have an associate degree or certificate in electronics, 10+ years of PWB design, and be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualificações

• Requires an associate degree or certificate from a two-year technical school or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
• 10+ years of experience in PWB design or technical drafting with specific tools knowledge.
• Experience with advanced packaging techniques such as dynamic wire-bond, complex flex and 3D die stacking.
• Formal electronics education preferred and U.S. government security clearance eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Assist electrical engineers with the design and layout of PWBs and interpret design requirements.
• Work on moderate to highly complex PWB designs and associated documentation.
• Collaborate with senior staff and DFМ engineers to ensure manufacturability and fabrication criteria.
• Communicate project status and issues to management and project team as requested.
