KLA is seeking a Senior eBeam Systems Design Engineer in Milpitas to lead design, modeling, and optimization of advanced electron beam systems used in semiconductor inspection and metrology platforms. The role requires deep electron optics expertise and hands-on experience with complex eBeam columns.

You will drive simulations, hardware observations, and system-level improvements, collaborating with multiple teams while independently leading high-impact projects and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

Advanced degree or equivalent in a physics/engineering field.
Deep expertise in electron optics and electron-beam system design.
Strong ability to lead complex technical projects and communicate results.

Responsibilities

Lead design, analysis, and optimization of electron beam columns and subsystems.
Develop architectures for advanced semiconductor inspection and metrology systems.
Run detailed electron-optics simulations to evaluate performance and improvements.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
