Job summary

KLA Milpitas is seeking a Senior Lead Systems Engineer to drive the full product lifecycle of next-generation eBeam inspection and imaging systems. You will shape system architecture, requirements, and integration while coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, service, and customers.

As a cross-functional leader, you will mentor teams, manage technical risk, and align hardware, software, and algorithms with product objectives. Travel up to 15% internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Physics, Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience developing complex semiconductor capital equipment or highly integrated electromechanical systems.
• Proven experience leading large cross-functional or matrixed engineering teams.
• Strong systems engineering skills: requirements management, architecture, integration, verification, risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering activities through all phases of the Product Lifecycle, from concept to sustaining.
• Define product requirements, system architecture, interfaces, budgets and roadmaps.
• Drive tradeoffs across hardware, software and algorithms with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote systems-thinking and engineering excellence.
