Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Earned Value Management Analyst (Level 4) with a focus on cost and schedule management. The role is on-site daily in Melbourne, FL, Palmdale, CA, or San Diego, CA, and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include guiding EVM across programs, training CAMs, and ensuring ANSI/EIA-748 compliance while leveraging tools like COBRA, JIRA, and MS Project. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience OR Master’s with 6 years of related experience.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience, such as cost management, program planning and scheduling experience, and/or CAM experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and experience.
• Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and/or DCAA; knowledge of FAR/DFARS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the EVM focal point between technical, cost, schedule, and program management teams.
• Build partnerships with program personnel to support program execution while maintaining compliant EVM implementation.
• Provide on the job training to CAMs for EVMS activities including baselining, forecasting, change control, risk management, and variance analysis.
• Develop and deliver Program Execution, EVM, Agile, and Best Practice training to build understanding and compliance.
• Identify and implement EVM process and procedure updates and improvements.
• Monthly review of DCMA Earned Value Compliance Metrics for independent analysis and risk reporting.
