Valley of the Sun YMCA seeks a Sr. Program Director of Early Learning to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Early Learning Center, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and financially sustainable programming aligned with YMCA standards.

You will drive enrollment growth, budget management, grant compliance, and quality assurance while leading hiring, onboarding, and payroll in partnership with HR.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Three to four years' experience in leadership in the early learning or related fields.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management of an early learning center and affiliated programs, including operations, curriculum, and adherence to high-quality standards.
• Maintains student enrollment and expands the program within the community; assists in marketing and distribution of program information.
• Monitors the program budget and prepares statistics to evaluate effectiveness and participation; secures facilities and schedules classes and events.
• Ensures grant compliance and manages timelines and deliverables for grants.
• Recruits and hires diverse staff and volunteers; onboards and develops them for success.
• Manages staff schedules, payroll, performance, and coordinates HR needs with MSO.
• Builds partnerships with community organizations and maintains clear communication within area of responsibility.
• Ensures safety, risk management, and compliance with licensing/ accreditation standards.
