Job summary

Valley of the Sun YMCA is seeking a Program Director of Early Learning to develop, organize, and implement high quality preschool programs. You will supervise activities, market information, and expand services to meet community needs.

The role requires recruiting and developing diverse staff, managing the program budget, and maintaining strong community partnerships while ensuring safety and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• One to two years related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures preschool programs meet community needs, supervises activities, and expands programs.
• Recruits and develops diverse staff and volunteers across multiple dimensions of diversity.
• Builds relationships with community organizations and maintains clear communication.
• Manages program budget, monitors participation, and schedules classes/activities.
