Job summary

Celebree School of The Woodlands Creekside is seeking a Kindergarten Lead Teacher to plan and implement classroom operations that align with Celebree’s mission and state regulations. You will mentor the assistant teacher, collaborate closely with families, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment following the school curriculum.

The role requires experience as a lead teacher, familiarity with The Creative Curriculum and related tools, and ongoing commitment to professional development

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed preschool, pre-K, or kindergarten classroom.
• Texas teaching certification (EC–6 or EC–12) or progress toward certification for Kindergarten.
• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or equivalent for pre-K.
• Experience with The Creative Curriculum, HWT, phonic system, Conscious Discipline, or similar whole-child frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement classroom operations to uphold Celebree’s mission and values.
• Mentor the assistant teacher and partner with families.
• Ensure compliance with Texas licensing standards and Celebree policies.
• Implement lesson plans per curriculum and monthly guides.
• Use differentiated instruction to build early literacy, math, science, and arts skills.
• Provide regular progress updates to families and maintain classroom safety and appearance.
• Attend meetings and trainings as requested and maintain required certifications.
