Job summary

Celebree School of The Woodlands Creekside seeks a Pre‑K Lead Teacher to plan and implement classroom operations, uphold Celebree’s mission, and create a developmentally appropriate, safe, and engaging learning environment following the school curriculum.

The Lead Teacher mentors the assistant, partners with families, and ensures compliance with Texas licensing standards and Celebree policies. Ongoing professional development supports early childhood education.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in preschool or pre-kindergarten settings.
• Greet parents by name, promptly address concerns, and provide regular updates on child development.
• Curriculum development expertise across literacy, math, and physical education.
• Experience managing diverse classrooms with effective behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Weekly lesson planning to incorporate curriculum development and literacy education.
• Create a warm, caring, and engaging learning environment.
• Manage the classroom to maintain safety and organization.
• Communicate children’s progress and milestones to families with regular updates.
• Support children with special education needs using early intervention strategies.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and events as required (open houses, family nights, tours).
• Conduct assessments aligned with Celebree standards to monitor progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development and trends.
