Job summary

Celebree School in Texas is seeking a Kindergarten Lead Teacher to plan and implement classroom operations that reflect Celebree’s mission and values. You will mentor an assistant teacher, collaborate with families, and ensure compliance with Texas licensing standards and Celebree policies.

The role requires leadership in curriculum delivery, development of age-appropriate lesson plans, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment while supporting children's transition to kindergarten.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of lead teacher experience in licensed preschool, pre-K, or kindergarten.
• Experience with The Creative Curriculum, HWT, phonic system, Conscious Discipline, or similar whole-child frameworks preferred.
• Texas teaching certification (EC–6 or EC–12) or progress toward certification for Kindergarten.
• CDA credential or equivalent for pre-K.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement all classroom operations to uphold Celebree’s mission, vision, and values.
• Mentor assistant teacher and partner with families.
• Ensure compliance with Texas licensing standards and Celebree policies and procedures.
• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Celebree curriculum expectations.
• Maintain safe, engaging learning environments and positive behavior supports.
• Greet parents, share progress updates, and communicate with the School Director.
