Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group seeks an Underwriting Supervisor for its Surplus Lines division in Sarasota, FL. The role leads the underwriting team to meet goals for profitability and policyholder service, while developing agency and key account relationships.

The position operates in a hybrid schedule, with two days at home and three days in the office. The ideal candidate has four+ years of E&S underwriting experience with casualty focus, plus at least one year in leadership, strong analytical pricing,

Qualifications

Minimum four years of E&S underwriting with focus on casualty lines.
At least 1 year of leadership experience.
Strong analytical and pricing skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead assigned underwriting team in accordance with corporate and regional goals for production, profitability, retention and service.
Support development of agency and key account relationships.
Oversee underwriting function including analyzing and evaluating information and exposures on risks of increasing complexity.
The position will be located in Sarasota, FL and operate in a hybrid schedule (2 days remote, 3 days in office).
Ensure policyholder service excellence and adherence to guidelines.
