Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group is seeking a Territory Underwriting Manager for its Surplus Lines casualty operations in South Florida. This remote role requires residency in the territory with travel across the region and focuses on profitable growth, underwriting complex accounts, and building strong agency relationships.

You will mentor teammates, deliver training, and help develop underwriting guidelines and products to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of commercial underwriting with focus on casualty surplus lines.
• Thorough understanding of key exposures and portfolio pricing techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgement and decision making.
• Advanced ability to determine customer needs, provide solutions and price business appropriately.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitable growth of the Excess & Surplus line within the territory.
• Underwrite and service the most complex accounts and largest agency relationships.
• Mentor teammates and deliver training programs.
• Assist in development of underwriting guidelines and products.
