• Gathers and analyzes information, applying underwriting techniques to evaluate risk acceptability.
• Prepares underwriting submissions, making recommendations within authority limits.
• Prepares and participates in proposals to producers and/or accounts negotiating terms and conditions.
• Prepares and participates in marketing activities for business development and relationship building.
• Mentors and trains less experienced underwriters.
