Job summary

MSIG USA, the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, seeks an experienced underwriting leader to manage the Property portfolio and develop strategy with senior management to ensure profit and revenue goals. You will recruit and retain qualified underwriting staff and oversee underwriting processes to maintain quality and service levels.

Responsibilities include assigning authority, managing staff workloads, and monitoring loss and marketing activity while driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of commercial P&C coverage experience.
• 3+ years of management experience and leadership skills.
• Strong underwriting management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio and develop strategy for MSIG USA's Property business.
• Underwrite and maintain own book of business.
• Assign underwriting authority to direct reports and coordinate with National Underwriting.
• Lead staff and administer Performance Management processes.
• Monitor loss, marketing activity, and budget metrics; report regularly.
