Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an Engineering and Operations (E&O) Systems Engineer / Configuration Management Lead to support CM across the 02232 ND Department. You will work at the systems level with ND teams to ensure CM requirements are implemented across the product lifecycle.

You will drive expertise in engineering data architecture, change control, and digital engineering workflows, enabling traceability and cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with CM, systems engineering, PLM, project management, requirements management or quality management.
• Working knowledge of PDMLink or equivalent CM IT applications.
• ND program experience and familiarity with product lifecycle management.
• DOE Q clearance or equivalent is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to champion CM best practices and improve implementation.
• Define and manage product configuration, baselines, structures, and traceability.
• Perform administrative, physical, and functional CM audits and support quality assessments.
• Document CM policies, processes, tools, and plans aligned with digital engineering.
• Support enterprise data management and data sources for requirements and CM.
