Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Configuration Management Architect to strengthen CM across ND programs and the enterprise. You will shape data architectures, change control, and digital thread capabilities while aligning with federal and corporate requirements.

You will partner with Systems and Product Realization to provide methods, processes, and guidance for modernization, innovation, and secure product realization. The role emphasizes collaboration and strategic CM leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in ND programs and CM.
• Experience leading or coordinating CM activities for complex programs.
• Experience with engineering data, change control, and product lifecycle data.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent to start.

Responsabilités

• Serve as department CM architect and guide strategic CM initiatives.
• Lead CM decisions, requirements flow‑down, and deliverables with ND programs.
• Architect scalable CM solutions, data flows, and digital thread across modernization.
• Advise on CM-related federal and corporate requirements (DPBPS, RPSS, LPS).
• Develop and implement digital business process architectures for PRIDE.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, and test teams to strengthen CM practices.
• Define CM processes, tools, and program plans for consistency.
• Guide CM and digital engineering tool usage to improve data quality.
• Support product and requirements data management across programs.
• Improve review readiness and requirements management for MBPD.
• Use configuration audits to improve compliance and traceability.
• Communicate CM requirements and policy changes aligning with objectives.
