Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead major data center electrical and instrumentation projects in the Houston or Odessa, TX area. You will own safety, schedule, cost, and quality across a fast-track portfolio from preconstruction through energization and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in data center construction, strong CPM scheduling and procurement skills, and the ability to interpret contracts and test scripts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of direct data center construction leadership.
• Experience with mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
• Strong CPM scheduling and cost-to-complete skills.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and test scripts.
• Excellent client management and negotiation skills.
• Based in Houston or Odessa, TX with regular travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Own safety, schedule, cost, margin, and client satisfaction across your project portfolio
• Lead teams through installation, energization, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mission-critical systems
• Oversee medium/low-voltage distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and related critical infrastructure
• Manage long-lead procurement and schedule-critical equipment strategy
• Drive weekly project health reviews and lead recovery planning when milestones are at risk
• Coach and develop project managers, superintendents, and project controls staff
