Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an experienced E&I General Foreman to lead electrical and instrumentation work on a large data center project in West Texas. The role directs multiple foremen and crews, coordinating manpower and activities to ensure safe, high‑quality installation, testing, energization, and turnover.

Responsibilities include planning, schedule-driven construction, review of drawings and specs, and ongoing communication with project leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical/instrumentation construction
• Experience leading multiple crews and foremen
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, lockout/tagout, and quality controls

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple E&I foremen and crews across buildings and project areas
• Translate project schedules into daily work plans and crew assignments
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials across fronts
• Oversee installation of raceway, cable tray, conductors, grounding, lighting, switchgear, transformers, gens, UPS, PDUs, controls and instrumentation
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs and field changes
• Identify material shortages, design conflicts and schedule risks
• Monitor labor performance and progress; manage rework and turnover docs
• Coordinate inspections, testing, energization, and commissioning support
• Ensure pre-task planning, toolbox talks, quality checks, and coaching
