Job summary

TikTok is seeking a lawyer to support our rapidly growing e-commerce business teams, specifically focusing on TikTok Shop from a US legal perspective. This on-site role requires five days per week in the office and demands strong cross-functional collaboration with product, operations, policy, and communications teams.

You will review products and initiatives for legal risk, guide internal policies, and provide product counseling to ensure compliance across global teams.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of a U.S. state bar.
• Experience counseling products in a tech or platform context.

Responsibilities

• Work with legal and product teams globally to review products, features, and initiatives to provide legal risk mitigation strategies for TikTok Shop from a US perspective.
• Coordinate with product, product operations, public policy, communications, and other cross-functional colleagues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of TikTok Shop initiatives through legal review and guidance on relevant frameworks.
• Review and analyze potential legal risks associated with new product developments and business strategies.
• Assist in developing internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Provide legal support on a variety of e-commerce related matters.
