Job summary

Williams in Houston seeks a Senior E&C Project Manager to lead major oil and gas initiatives, applying PLC/Stage-Gate processes and ensuring on-time delivery and safety.

You will coordinate internal and external teams, develop detailed schedules and cost forecasts, review RFPs, and drive profitability across the project lifecycle. Travel up to 50% is required; a Bachelor's in engineering and 10+ years' experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years in oil & gas engineering or project management.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering management or business; PMP or PE.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; safety first.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams to execute complex project plans and coordinates with internal/external partners.
• Sets up core project teams to enable collaboration and achieve objectives.
• Coordinates technical resources under the Project Life Cycle guidance.
• Develops reports, schedules, and cost forecasts for control and transparency.
• Presents recommendations grounded in engineering principles to improve reliability and profitability.
• Prepares and evaluates RFPs, contractor selections with precision and compliance.
• Uses economic impact analysis to drive long-term value and profitability.
• Designs optimum project solutions across the lifecycle and anticipates challenges.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
