Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager for oil and gas power generation initiatives in the United States. You will lead teams, coordinate electrical engineering efforts, and drive lifecycle project delivery from initiation to close.

Qualifications include 15+ years in oil and gas, a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), PMP/PE certifications, and ability to travel up to 50%. Strong MS Office skills and PLC/Stage-Gate knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 15+ years in oil and gas engineering or project management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time.
• Working knowledge of electrical power systems fundamentals.
• Familiarity with power generation equipment vendors and OEMs.
• Experience with systems up to 345kV.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Safety as the utmost priority.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related PC skills.
• Solid understanding of PLC/Stage-Gate processes.
• Extensive facility construction/operations experience in oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to implement complex project plans and programs.
• Set up core project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate technical resources under the Project Life Cycle.
• Develop project reports, presentations, schedules, and costing forecasts.
• Present and implement engineering and operational efficiency recommendations.
• Prepare, review, and approve proposals, evaluations, and contractor selection.
• Analyze project economics and drive solutions.
• Anticipate issues, assess opportunities, and make decisions.
• Lead power generation projects including on-site generation and grid-interconnection.
