Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks a seasoned Project Engineer to lead design, modeling, development and testing of complex machines and systems. You will create simulations, evaluate designs, and guide integration of components to deliver reliable products.

The role requires a PE and 9+ years engineering experience; you will act as SME, drive technical standards, and coordinate multi-project efforts across teams while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires deep technical expertise and understanding of related disciplines.
• Develops procedures, codes, and standards for complex problem areas.
• Exercises authority and leadership on self-initiated, strategic assignments.
• Leads multiple critical projects including design, start-up, and evaluation.
• Participates in bid/evaluation processes with proposals and technical reviews.
• Serves as organizational spokesperson on advanced projects.
• May oversee engineers, interns, and technicians.
• Coordinates budgeting, forecasting, and work order management.

Responsibilities

• Applies extensive technical expertise and has a higher-level understanding of basic principles of related disciplines to contribute to new standards.
• Conceives plans to develop procedures, codes, and standards for complex problem areas.
• Exhibits technical leadership on strategic assignments with long-term business impact.
• Oversees design, equipment specification & selection, installation, start-up, and evaluation of work progress.
• Participates in bid/evaluation processes and technical evaluations for proposals.
