The Senior Design Engineer III shall have experience developing highly complex electromechanical systems for use in heavy industrial global applications. The role requires leading design projects from the start and through completion, supporting product documentation and collaborating in a cross functional team

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of related design experience in heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience leading full design projects from concept to launch.
• Proficient in CAD and product documentation.
• Experience with product testing and on-site testing when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects for complex electromechanical systems.
• Model concepts and detailed designs in CAD (Inventor or SolidWorks).
• Translate customer requirements into formal design documentation.
• Develop and run verification tests; support product testing and demonstrations.
• Generate prints per ASME/ANSI and apply GD&T.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of quality issues and support uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional PDT and provide engineering leadership.
• Travel domestically/internationally as required (<10%).
