Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking a Sr. Observability Engineer II to advance proactive monitoring of our healthcare SaaS platform.

You will own Dynatrace multi-tenant setups, tune alert lifecycles, and reduce noise while preserving critical detection. You will partner with Hosting Operations, SRE, and other engineering teams to implement synthetic monitors, dashboards, and runbooks, ensuring service reliability and business impact is clear to leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in observability, APM, SRE, or related infrastructure field.
• Hands-on Dynatrace with Davis AI, dashboards, and synthetic monitors.
• Experience reducing alert fatigue while preserving real issues.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain Dynatrace multi-tenant environment and policies.
• Own end-to-end alert lifecycle, severity mapping, and production readiness.
• Design synthetic monitors and service-health models for critical journeys.
• Develop and standardize DQL queries, notebooks, and dashboards.
• Collaborate on configuration-as-code for observability settings.
