Job summary
Tech Mirrors is seeking an SRE (Dynatrace) to join our Jersey City engineering team. You will leverage Dynatrace observability capabilities to monitor and optimize complex cloud-native backends and microservices in production.
You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and global engineers, focusing on high-performance, scalable systems, architecture reviews, and the rollout of reliable CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Qualifications
- Experience with Dynatrace observability platform.
- Background in platform engineering or Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Istio service mesh.
- Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes networking.
- Security and cloud automation knowledge.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and cloud-native applications.
- Build observability and monitoring solutions for enterprise environments.
- Work on high-performance distributed systems and microservices.
- Participate in architecture, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and optimization.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and global engineering teams.
- Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and availability of systems.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Work with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production and performance issues.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Dynatrace observability to monitor production services.
- Contribute to platform engineering and internal developer platforms.
- Design and implement scalable backend systems on cloud-native stacks.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Work with Kubernetes-based deployments and Helm charts.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams on system improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and performance issues.
