Job summary

hive + co is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Sr./Principal for Enterprise Observability & Monitoring with Dynatrace to design, implement, and support its enterprise monitoring ecosystem. The role spans on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable proactive incident detection and performance optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years supporting enterprise monitoring or observability platforms.
5+ years supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
Experience administering Dynatrace or comparable monitoring solutions.
Experience in regulated utility or large enterprise environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver proactive monitoring, performance management, automation, and observability across critical applications and infrastructure.
Partner with application, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams to translate business requirements into monitoring strategies.
Design and implement monitoring solutions; develop standards for dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.
Support monitoring for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms.
Lead onboarding of large scale applications; build dashboards and alerting policies.
