Job summary

Protective Life is seeking an Application Developer to design, build, and extend Dynamics 365 solutions and related Power Platform automations. You will develop enterprise web components using C#, SQL, .NET, JavaScript, and CRM plugins while leveraging Azure Functions, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject preferred.
• 3+ years IT development experience.
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Development (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM).
• Strong experience with Dataverse (common data service) and Data modeling.
• Data migration and data integration experience is a plus.
• Experience with Agile SDLC methodology (Agile preferred).
• Microsoft Power Platform Certification(s) considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in Insurance industry and/or LOMA coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with business, digital agents, and IT partners to evaluate and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term vision for solution architecture and delivery.
• Define requirements with product owners and business users for enterprise solutions.
• Apply Agile practices to design, develop and maintain enterprise solutions.
• Document and monitor application interfaces and architecture.
• Develop architecture for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Drive development standards across enterprise teams.
• Monitor trends in enterprise platforms to assess relevance and impact.
• Design and develop integrated solutions across cloud platforms (Azure).
