Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Applications to lead development and modernization efforts using Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform. You will drive cloud-based migrations, integrate diverse systems, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, Agile delivery, and extensive .NET/SQL skills, with federal-government exposure a plus. This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT services or development experience.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform.
• Experience integrating enterprise apps using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML.
• Ability to lead projects using Scrum/Agile framework.
• Federal government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apprise Project Manager, COR, and GTM of significant IT operations and application development issues promptly.
• Lead transformation of existing applications and design modern interfaces and architectures.
• Coordinate migration from current platforms to cloud-based platforms with systems experts.
• Attend customer meetings and act as the primary technical liaison for solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform.
• Configure custom entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and CRM security models.
• Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows for business process automation.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform with external systems via REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Support SQL Server development including stored procedures, views, triggers, and reporting queries.
• Troubleshoot issues, support production systems, and implement user-driven enhancements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
