Job summary

McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, seeks a Lead Instructional Designer, Dual Literacy (ELA/SLA) for our K-12 literacy programs. This remote or office-based role partners with content, product management, UX, and creative media to assemble high-quality content for Dual Literacy programs.

You will design digital tools and learning solutions, mentor designers, ensure accessibility, and contribute to curriculum mapping within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field required.
• Experience with Spanish-language materials; prior Spanish/ESL/dual-language teaching is a plus.
• 4+ years' experience in digital content development for teaching materials.
• Experience managing multiple projects within tight deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to design solutions for multiple components and advise leadership on workflow improvements.
• QC on both English and Spanish language digital assets and advise leadership on new workflow improvements.
• Create, finalize, and maintain internal documentation for digital workflows and guidelines.
• Train instructional designers and mentor team members in digital tools and workflows.
• Champion accessibility standards with strong contributions throughout product development.
• Lead curriculum mapping and development of course maps within an Agile framework.
• Support user testing by interpreting results and making strategic recommendations.
