McGraw Hill is seeking a Lead Instructional Designer, Dual Literacy (ELA/SLA) for its K-12 literacy programs. This remote role may be based in an office within the United States.

You will develop digital and print instructional materials, partner with content, product, UX, and media teams, and ensure high-quality content for dual-language literacy initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in digital content development including teaching/learning materials.
• Experience managing multiple projects with tight deliverables and budgets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and influence trade-offs.
• Experience designing digital platforms and learning experiences with authoring tools and LMS/ CMS.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and their application to instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to design solutions and remove delivery barriers.
• Contribute to product build process with QC on English/Spanish assets; advise on workflows.
• Create, finalize, and maintain internal documentation for digital workflows and guidelines.
• Work on metadata tagging, concept mapping, and digital editing tasks.
• Train and mentor instructional designers in best practices for tools and workflows.
• Champion accessibility standards across the product development process.
• Participate in Agile program planning to meet product requirements and timelines.
• Manage vendor and freelancer teams, overseeing launches and ensuring deliverables.
